About the Municipal Code
The Blue Springs Municipal Code represents the most current regulations adopted by the City. The document is a compilation of ordinances of the City. Following adoption by the City Council, ordinances of a general and permanent nature are codified into the Municipal Code. Codification is completed twice a year.
This Code guides how the City is governed and is updated as the City grows and changes.
Non-Codified Ordinances
When there are ordinances that have been adopted, but have not yet been codified, they will be available below.
- Ordinance No. 4220 - An ordinance amending Section 355.010, Table III-A of the Code of Ordinances, by adding new paragraphs prohibiting parking on various streets for the new bike route system
- Ordinance No. 4239 - An ordinance establishing a Public Safety Citizens' Advisory Board to the City and to the City's Police Department
- Ordinance No. 4240 - An ordinance amending Subsections 600.060.G and 600.060.H of the Code of Ordinances to clarify the licenses and sales set forth therein
- Ordinance No. 4250 - An ordinance amending Sec. 401.370 "Telecommunications Facility Use Regulations" of the Code of Ordinances to make minor changes and updates
- Ordinance No. 4251 - An ordinance amending Subsections 405.010 and adding Subsection 405.020.BB and Section 407.150 of the Code of Ordinances to regulate the location and installation of micro-wind turbines
- Ordinance No. 4257 - An ordinance amending Sections 245.290, 245.300, 245.310, 245.320 and 515.450, and adding Sections 245.330, 245.340 and 245.350 to the Code of Ordinances to regulate the height of weeds and the abatement thereof
- Ordinance No. 4270 - An ordinance amending Section 220.255.A of the Code of Ordinances to lower the age at which a person can be held responsible for a domestic assault from 18 years to 17 years
- Ordinance No. 4271 - An ordinance amending Chapter 705, Article 1, Section 705.050.B and Chapter 705, Article III, Section 705.130.b.4 of the Code of Ordinances, City of Blue Springs, Missouri, to add additional wording to clarify the security deposit amount required
- Ordinance No. 4272 - An ordinance amending Section 600.060 of the Code of Ordinances, City of Blue Springs, Missouri, to add Subsection O defining a license for a temporary location
