Burrus Old Mill Park is one of the oldest parks in the Blue Springs Park system. In total the park is comprised of 14 acres and also houses the first skate park build in Blue Springs.

This park is located on the site where the City of Blue Springs was founded and the spring located just south of the park across Walnut Street is how the city came to be know as Blue Springs.
